Clean-Leaf II™

History: Clean-Leaf II™ is one of the new products manufactured by Alpha Agri-Products Inc. Officially trialed in May of 2008 as a foliar enhancement product the market place quickly embraced its benefits.

How does it work?

Clean-Leaf II™ is a food grade paraffinic mineral oil. Because of the processing and the removal of all impurities Clean-Leaf II is water soluble.
Clean-Leaf II™ is designed to create a protective layer on the plant leaf surface and yet allow the stoma to function freely. As the thin layer of waxy material covers the leaf surface it will give a 10 to14 day protection against the elements. A well covered leaf will have a shiny appearance after a treatment.

What crops can benefit from Clean-Leaf II™?

Clean-Leaf II™ was originally designed for grape growers, but Clean-Leaf II™ is now widely used in greenhouse crops and other high value field crops.

What are the benefits?

It is becoming more and more difficult to bring a crop to its natural maturity, our environment is changing and growing crops is more challenging than ever before. Clean-Leaf II™ is one extra tool for growers to help the crop survive until harvest is finished. Because Clean-Leaf II™ is food grade oil it is completely safe to use on fruit and vegetables and has extremely low health risk to the applicator.

Any Risks?

Like any product, Clean-Leaf II™ also has risks. Because the base material is oil; careful attention is needed during mixing and a good surfactant may be needed to give the product an even spread. Please read the directions before use. Incorrect application could cause burning. (We strongly recommend a small trial area first).
